My husband has an admitted addiction to velvet slippers, so you can imagine our wonderment upon finding the custom slipper section at Tom Ford. That man is a taste-making genius. And our astonishment continued upon looking at the prices….yoowza. Perhaps we’ll leave these for Hugh Hefner.

The vaulted ceiling at the Bellagio bubbles over with 2,000 hand-blown Chihuly glass blossoms. Mesmerizing.

Though I usually pass on frozen drinks (really any fruity cocktail at that), the acai and blueberry potion at the Bellagio pool was just the thing to cool down under the beating Nevada rays.
