I adore house walks. On the one hand, it is nostalgia. I spent countless weekends as a child accompanying my mom and her lady friends through showcase gardens and kitchens. On the other hand, it is a form of acceptable nosiness.
As a lover of interior decor and an occassionally nosy person (sure, I eavesdrop on dinner conversations at the next table), I was thrilled to receive an invitation to the 2011 Denver Show House reception. A fabulous opportunity for designers of varied styles to take ownership for a single room and exhibit their talent. At this particular County Club home, I was enamored by some of the intriguing displays that transformed every nook and cranny.
