room with a (caribbean) view.

Cartagena is a city of boutique hotels. Ranging in size from 5 to 25 rooms and in style from bohemian to contemporary. The one common thread is a preservation of ancient architectural structures married with modern luxuries.

Impeccably chic and highly coveted  hotel owned by fashion designer, Silvia Tcherassi.

This is actually a home which you can rent from the fabulous owner (and decorator). We were graciously invited by our new friends for an intimate dinner on one of the house’s many romantic terraces. A gypsy palace.

Other hotspots not to miss are La Passion and Hotel Agua.
