Cartagena, Colombia. Perhaps the best kept secret going. Our honeymoon destination was a surprise to me, but this place far exceeded my expectations. A magical city fortified by an ancient wall with Carribean waves crashing on the other side. Behind tropically painted building facades lie quiet Moroccan-like courtyards. Horse-drawn carts, yellow taxis and fruit peddlers zip through the narrow winding streets. I imagine this is what Havana looked like 40 years ago. Espactacular!
