aspen produce.

The crisp sunlit climate of Aspen this weekend was an ideal way to close out the summer. Only in Aspen does the Saturday Farmer’s Market include trendy Airstream booths, plump and well-manicured veggies, and rare gemstone jewelry vendors on one block.

Onto dinner at Matsuhisa, otherwise known as Nobu Aspen. I hate to sound cliché, but it is honestly the best Japanese food I’ve ever tasted. From the thinly sliced  yellowtail jalapeño, creamy & crunchy dynamite shrimp, to the assorted sushi rolls, every bite is melt-in-your-mouth heaven. The perfectly flavored composition of each dish leaves no need for additional soy sauce dipping.
