Craving some of the eclectic design I saw in Venice Beach, I embarked on a bit of Boulder exploration upon return. My desires were quenched by the fashion and interior designers housed at è bella. I had met CarolAnn Wachter before, and finally made my way over to the beautiful home decor shop where she sells her clothing collections. Amidst è bella’s luxe pillows and rugs, CarolAnn’s feminine fashion label, Mind, takes shape.

beginnings: started in 1990 with a line of hats, grew the millinery to a full collection five years later
inspirations: an affinity toward the 1920’s – 1940’s, her own paintings and art influence
the current collection: a blend of vintage silhouettes, feminine details, high-quality fabrics and careful menswear tailoring
quintessential pieces for fall: the Cashmere/Alpaca “womb” coat and the darted + draped pant
