metalware and blistered pepper

Junya Watanabe top, J.Crew shorts, Elizabeth and James sandals

After a six hour drive fueled by roadside McDonalds, the mountains transitioned into shades of violet rock and we arrived in Santa Fe.  If you haven’t been, go!  I adore everything about this artists’ hamlet – the adobe architecture, Southwestern flavors, impressive galleries. We began our mini-vacation with a visit to the Palace of the Governors where Native Americans lay their crafts out on blankets.

Sculpted jewelry at Bara‘s stand on the Plaza. I couldn’t say no to a massive, deformed bronze ring (which I promise to debut next…).

The Georgia O’Keefe Museum a simple but enchanting glimpse into the works and lifestyle of a true Southwestern icon.  This place has always been a personal favorite.

Mischen top, AG jeggings, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Big Buddha handbag

Headed to dinner at Santacafé for an incredible meal on the elegant terrace.  The flavorful poblano relleno is a serious vegetarian option, and of course I stole forkloads from TW’s bing cherry pork chop.
