Day 2: 90210 Exploration (Cont.)

So begins the mission of this quick vacation: find wedding dress.  I can not imagine a more surreal place to shop for a gown than the Beverly Hills Saks bridal salon.  An ivory wonderland.

After a successful conquest through silk and chiffon, we met friends for lunch at Villa Blanca.  The dreamy shabby chic interior of the restaurant was the perfect place to follow a morning in the bridal boutique.  Big fresh salads and a toast with bubbly Rosé.

After further shopping and pool lounging, we made our way to Thomas Keller’s latest institution, Bouchon.  Classic French bistro with a simple menu and unpretentious elegance.  Despite the clamoring crowd, we managed to score two seats at the bar – prime for people watching.

I enjoyed all your pictures of your life in CO; you look so happy! I can’t wait to see what dress you choose. I didn’t have an ah-ha moment when I first tried on the dress that I wore, but lots of people say “you just know.” Anyway, have a great time wining, dining, and shopping!
