Day 1: Beverly Hills Arrival

Check-in at the Thompson Hotel.  Though rather stark (with dismal room lighting if you ask me), we appealed to the swanky modern atmosphere of the Thompson. And the hot scene with 360° views on the rooftop pool and cabana bar is unbeatable.

St. John couture jacket, American Apparel T, Acne denim, Balenciaga handbag

Unpacking essentials.  Did I mention the Thompson provides Bigelow bath products?  The best.

Loeffler Randall ballet flat, Guiseppe Zanotti sandal, Fresh cosmetic bag

On to dinner at local favorite, il Pastaio, where the atmosphere is lively, the tables are close, and the homemade pasta is scrumptious.  I chose the green and white Tagliatelle with zucchini, basil and plenty of garlic and parmesano – impossible not to clean the plate.

Theory leopard tank, Kenneth Jay Lane necklace
