I am thrilled to announce that the Beehive restaurant has officially opened doors in Boulder, CO. For the past few months I’ve been consulting on the interior design + graphics, so I’m pretty thrilled about how it turned out. Electic but clean (white, of course) with an unmistakably welcoming + chill demeanor. The cool cats behind this food-lover’s mecca are my cousin, a wine importer who will be popping bottles of insanely rare ‘reserve’ cuvees at equally insane prices, and his wife Janice, the proprietor and true definition of passionate chef + lover of all things delicious. Drawing inspiration from the beats of quirky Brooklyn establishments and seeking local + wide for the best ingredients (from plump Colorado peaches to a David Chang praised ham sent in from native state of Kentucky).
recognize this table? two slabs of pine beetlekill make for an uber chic community table. minimal, modern, monochromatic chairs balance the vintage finds.
repurposed Ball jars pendants from Michigan.
Mention JJ SCHOLL on your first visit to receive a complimentary glass of Spasso Prosecco and delicious basket of freshly baked breads.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks so much for helping Janice with the design- looks wonderfully clean and inviting. Also for the photo layout, its looks so professionally done. We can’t wait to have our dining experience there.
